ProNine 47 12 USA NFHS Fastpitch Softballs – 12 Inch Leather – Dozen

The ProNine 47 12 is the 12 inch game ball approved for USA Softball and NFHS high school play: a 12 inch fastpitch softball with a raised fastpitch seam, leather cover, and solid polyurethane center, built to 47 COR and 375 lb compression specifications. It is USA Softball & NFHS approved, so the approval question is settled before the umpire asks. Sold by the dozen.

Approved Where It Counts

USA Softball and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) both approve this ball, which covers sanctioned high school fastpitch and USA Softball league play with one dozen. For high school programs and 14U-and-up travel fastpitch, this is the straightforward stock-the-bag choice.

Built for Fastpitch

The raised fastpitch seam gives pitchers the grip that rise balls, drops, and screws depend on, while the leather cover holds its feel through hard game use. Underneath, the solid polyurethane center keeps compression consistent from the first inning to the last.

Where It Fits

The ProNine 47 12 SC is the synthetic-cover version of this ball. League-stamped versions for Little League, PONY, and USSSA play live in the fastpitch softballs collection, and the Dudley NFHS SB 12L is the other NFHS fastpitch option on the shelf. For machine work, save these and load the LPM12 leather machine softball instead.

Is this ball legal for our league?

It carries USA Softball and NFHS approval, the two stamps high school and USA-sanctioned fastpitch look for. Leagues set their own ball rules, so check yours if it names specific models.

Leather or synthetic?

Leather for game-day feel; synthetic for weather resistance and price. Many programs run both: leather for games, synthetic for everything else.
