ProNine 9L Indoor Outdoor Soft Training Baseballs – Dozen

The ProNine 9L is a 9 inch indoor and outdoor soft training baseball: leather cover, medium seam, and a soft polyurethane center that lets teams practice at full speed in places a regulation ball would never be allowed. It will not mark gym floors. Sold by the dozen.

Practice Moves Indoors, Practice Keeps Going

Rain, snow, and early spring do not cancel the season; they just move it into the gym. The 9L is built for exactly that: the soft polyurethane center takes the sting and the bounce out of hard contact with walls and floors, and ProNine builds it so it will not mark gym floors, which keeps athletic directors happy and practice time booked.

A Real Baseball Feel

The leather cover and medium seam keep throwing grips honest, so pitchers and fielders are not re-learning the ball when they walk back outside. It works outdoors too, as an everyday low-consequence practice ball for young teams.

Where It Fits

The ProNine 12L is the softball version of this ball. For an even lighter indoor option, the Lite Flight foam baseballs run a third of regulation weight. Everything else on the drill wall lives in the training balls collection.

Is this ball safe for gym use?

It is built for it: soft polyurethane center and a construction ProNine specifies will not mark gym floors. As with any ball, supervision and sensible spacing still apply indoors.

Can we use it outside too?

Yes. ProNine specifies it for indoor and outdoor use, and the leather cover handles normal field practice. Teams typically run it as their everything-practice ball through the cold months.
