ProNine React Softball Reaction Ball

The ProNine REACT Softball reaction ball is a six-sided rubber training ball that refuses to bounce the same way twice. Throw it, drop it, or fire it off a wall and the design causes random leaps and hops, forcing the fielder to react to the ball instead of predicting it. It is softball size, at 12 inches around, and it comes individually packed. Sold individually.

Training the Skill Drills Cannot Fake

Most fielding practice is predictable, and predictable is exactly what game hops are not. ProNine builds the React ball to improve hand-eye coordination and reaction time and to sharpen depth perception, because every carom arrives at a different angle and speed. It also makes training fun and more effective: players chase this thing like a drill disguised as a game.

Simple Tool, Endless Drills

One player and a wall is a workout. A coach and a line of infielders is a competition. The six-sided rubber body takes concrete, gym floor, and dirt without complaint, and the softball sizing keeps glove work honest for softball players.

Where It Fits

The ProNine React baseball reaction ball is the same tool in the other sport’s size. For strength-side training rather than reflexes, the weighted mini sand ball covers front and side toss work. The whole drill wall lives in the training balls collection.

How do you use a reaction ball?

Bounce it off any hard surface and field it. Solo players work off a wall; coaches roll or bounce it to players in lines. The random hops do the coaching.

Baseball or softball version?

Match the ball size your players field: 9 inch for baseball, 12 inch for softball. The unpredictable bounce behavior is the same in both.
